Getac SmartUpdate - Whitlisting for Firewall

If you're trying to use this software and getting the error "We couldn't check for updates, because your device isn't connected to the Internet" this would be your firewall blocking its connection to connect to our servers.

 

Please make sure to whitelist https://winfota.getac.com and port 443

 

Once these are whitelisted try again. If this still doesn't allow the software to work please contact our tech support at 866-394-3822 or fill out the form at https://www.getac.com/us/contact/
