Q: I activated my eSIM for Verizon but it says my firmware is set to ATT and not giving service. How do I switch to Verizon Firmware?

A: Please follow these steps. Skip to Step 4 if you already downloaded the WWAN driver.

  1. Go to our drive page https://support.getac.com/Portal/Page/763
  2. Put in your serial number or model
  3. Click on Individual Driver and download the WWAN driver for your Sierra module
  4. Unzip the driver
  5. Open the Configuration.ini
  6. Change the first line of FWUPDATE=OFF to FWUPDATE=AUTO
    • This will make it so during the install it can update the firmware
  7. Press Enter after AUTO to create a new line and add DEFAULTIMAGE=1
    • This will make it so that after the install it forces to install the Verizon Firmware
  8. Once Driver is complete it should now be on Verizon Firmware.

If you still have issues connecting with your eSIM please call our support at 866-394-3822 or email us at [email protected]
