Q: When I take the unit off the docking stating the LCD Dims all the way down and cannot be adjusted. Is there a way to correct this?

A: Check the battery lock under the unit to make sure it is not stuck. If the battery lock is not in its it locked position and is in between it will make the unit think you're preparing to remove the battery. Once in its locked position it should resolve the brightness back to normal. If the switch is stuck or will not lock then it would need to go in for RMA to correct the issue.
