Q: How do I boot from a USB on my T800G2 for re-imaging?

 

A: Please follow the below steps:
  1. Plug in USB Stick you are okay with formatting
  2. Go to https://rufus.ie to download the rufus tool
  3. Run rufus exe you downloaded
  4. Verify in Device section it shows the drive that is your USB Stick you want to format
  5. Click Select
  6. Choose your imaging .iso file you will be using to image the USB
  7. Make sure Partition Scheme is set to GPT
  8. Make sure Target system is set to UEFI (non-CSM)
  9. Name your Volume
  10. Choose FAT32 (Its usually chosen by default)
  11. Click Start
  12. Once Complete safely remove from computer its plugged into
  13. Plug into T800G2 (if you need a keyboard make sure to use a dock or USB hub)
  14. Press the power button and F10 on keyboard (or tap the screen) to get to the boot menu
  15. Click Boot Menu
  16. Choose your USB stick from the list to boot from the imaging USB
  17. Now continue with your imaging process
