Q: How do I factory reset my unit outside of the Android OS?

A: Please follow the below steps to factory reset your Android Device outside of Android:

1. From Power off state hold Volume Down
2. Press the power button and let go while continuing to hold the volume down button
3. After the android screen comes up it will arrive at the android recovery screen (release volume down button)
4. Press volume down button 2 times or until you get to the “Wipe data/factory reset” option
5. Press the Power button to select it
6. Press the Volume down button to highlight yes
7. Press the Power button to factory Reset the unit (THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE)
8. It will take a few minutes just let it sit until it is complete.
9. After Formatting the unit Press Power button on Reset Unit (First option)
10. Unit will now be at a Factory Out of Box state
