Updating BIOS from WinPE

Q: I am not able to update my SYS BIOS within Windows.

How do I update the BIOS outside of Windows OS from the Windows Flashing exe on the driver page?

 

A: Please follow these steps to create a USB Bootable WinPE drive to run BIOS Flashing tool outside of windows:

Note: You will lose all data on this drive as it will be formatted

  • Clicke the Load Button
  • Navigate to and click the UEFIBootableSource Folder like below

  • Click OK
  • Click Build
  • Click Exit after it is successfully built
  • Safely Eject your USB Hard Drive
  • Plug USB Hard Drive into the unit you want to flash the System BIOS on
  • Make sure AC Adapter is plugged in
  • Boot to the USB Hard Drive
  • Change to the drive that holds the BIOS file (example: e: then enter key)
  • Type file name of BIOS file
  • Press Enter and it will begin flashing the System BIOS
