Q: Every time I power down the unit after upgrading to Windows 10 1709 the WWAN will not connect. If I disable/enable it then it works. How do I correct this?

A: Please follow the below steps:

  1. Right Click or hold on the Windows Flag in the bottom left
  2. Click Device Manager in the list that appears
  3. Click the + next to Network Adapters
  4. Double click/tap on the WWAN module
  5. If there is a power management tab click it (if not move on to step 7)
  6. Uncheck the box to allow windows to manage the power and click OK
  7. Click the + next to Universal Serial Bus Controllers
  8. Open each item and if it has a power management tab uncheck the box to allowe windows to shut off the Device
