Q: How do I change my GPS baud rate to 4800?

A: Please follow the below steps:
Note: If your GPS is through the 4G module you do not have to worry about this as 4G will do all baud rates
  1. Download GetacGPSCommand from the following link:
  2. https://gps.getac.com
  3. Click the First link for the GetacGPSCommand
  4. Unzip the file downloaded
  5. Open Command Prompt as Administrator
  6. Change Directory to folder containing GetacGPSCommand.exe
  7. Type GetacGPSCommand.exe COMPORTNUMBER
    • If your GPS is on COM 2 then it would look like GetacGPSCommand.exe 2
If your GPS is on COM 3 then it would look like GetacGPSCommand.exe 3
  8. Press Enter
Your GPS will now be programmed to 4800.
