Q: The GPS works correctly while off the dock but cannot get signal while on the dock. Is there a setting we are missing?

A: First question is, are you using external antenna? If you're not then follow these steps to change docking USB to 2.0 to resolve the issue:

  1. Turn the unit on and at Getac Splash screen press F2 to go into BIOS.
    • If using a table press the Windows button then click Setup Utilities
  2. Go to the advanced tab
  3. Click Device Configuration
  4. Click Docking USB
  5. Change from 3.0 to 2.0
  6. Press F10 to Exit & Save Changes
  7. Click Yes
  8. Now test the GPS to see if the signal has improved

Info:

If you are using an external antenna please check to make sure it is in the correct spot on the dock. Usually port C. And that in G-Manager under Settings > Misc that it is turned on for what antenna you
