Unable to Log into InCar or MasterDock

Overview

This article provides steps for troubleshooting login issues from the various Getac video products.

Symptoms

User receives an error message stating invalid login or password while attempting to sign in to an MVS or MasterDock.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. If using AD sync, this can occur when the Unit has no connection back to the server to sync changes.
    1. Try using the last known working password.
      Note:
      • This will most commonly occur after changing a password.
      • Getac does not manage AD synced accounts. Contact an administrator for assistance.
  2. If not, was the password changed recently?
    1. It may take 5 minutes to sync the new password to the InCar or MasterDock software.
  3. If still unable to log in, reset the password through Getac Enterprise following the instructions in the article below.
    1.  Change Password.
  4.  After changing the password, give the system 5 minutes to sync the new password. 
  5. If issues persist, contact [email protected] for assistance.
