Overview
This article provides steps for troubleshooting login issues from the various Getac video products.
Symptoms
A User receives an error message stating invalid login or password while attempting to sign in to an MVS or MasterDock.
Troubleshooting Steps
- If using AD sync, this can occur when the Unit has no connection back to the server to sync changes.
- Try using the last known working password.
Note:
- This will most commonly occur after changing a password.
- Getac does not manage AD synced accounts. Contact an administrator for assistance.
- Try using the last known working password.
- If not, was the password changed recently?
- It may take 5 minutes to sync the new password to the InCar or MasterDock software.
- If still unable to log in, reset the password through Getac Enterprise following the instructions in the article below.
- After changing the password, give the system 5 minutes to sync the new password.
