Assign Asset to User

However, since Getac Enterprise is highly configurable, the ability to complete tasks described in this article may be different for each User, depending on policy. Please contact an administrator with all access questions and concerns.
Overview
This feature allows for an Asset to be assigned to a different User account within Getac Enterprise. The main reasons for needing to do this typically include:
- Assigning a Guest recording to an actual User.
Note:
By default, if a User does not log into an MVS or BWC is not assigned to them, the Guest user will be automatically assigned.
- Assigning the correct User to an Asset or Asset Group if the wrong User was logged in at the time of recording.
Note:
MVS systems can be configured to not log out the last logged-in User. BWCs used in Kiosk mode automatically unassign a User once docked in a Multi-Dock.
- Adding another User so that they can see an Asset or Asset Group that they would otherwise not be able to due to permissions.
